Releases: PokemonAutomation/ComputerControl
Version v0.66.2-beta
Version 0.66.2 (public beta)
- Fixed joycon controllers crashing.
- If you plug your ESP32-S3 and Pico (UART mode)'s wired procon/joycon into your computer, it will no longer keep your computer awake unless Steam has been opened at some point. (Requires flashing new firmware.)
Version 0.66.1 (public beta)
This is the release that many of you have been waiting for...
- Added: FRLG SID Helper for RNG (credit Astro)
- Added: FRLG Starter RNG (credit Astro)
- Added: FRLG Gift RNG (credit Astro)
- Added: FRLG Static RNG (credit Astro)
- Added: FRLG Wild RNG (credit Astro)
These are fully automatic RNG programs. They will automatically calculate your frames, make adjustments, and eventually hit your shiny frame!
These are complicated programs, thus they are in beta for now. Please let us know if you have any issues. (and we expect a lot of issues!)

Version v0.65.12-beta
Version 0.65.12:
- New Program: Pokopia Cloud Reset (credit Gimikyu)
- Large PABotBase2 revamp with a protocol change. You will need to flash new firmware.
- The ESP32-S3 now defaults to "None" instead of "NS2: Wired Controller". We encourage people to use "NS1: Wired Pro Controller" instead since it has more features and can self-diagnose connection issues.
- When flashing the ESP32 and ESP32-S3, you no longer need to manually reset the board by pressing the reset button or power cycling the board. CC will now do this automatically if needed. Therefore, ESP32 and ESP32-S3 can now be remotely flashed without any physical contact.
- Added separate firmware for the non-wireless RP2040 and RP2350 boards. Wiki update coming later.
- All Pico-family boards (including the new generic firmware for RP2040 and RP2350) now support using GPIO 0/1 for UART mode. (selection between GPIO 0/1 vs. GPIO 4/5 is done by placing a jumper on GPIO 26+27.)
- Improved reliability of Y-COMM detector. (reported by Not Dreamer)
- Fixed Magearna Reset. (reported by arosmian, credit ZHDreamer)
- Improved stability of Lucky Egg Farmer. (reported by MimozaRinus, credit dolphincurry)
- Stability improvements to Cram-o-matic. (reported by Thursdays, credit fye)
- Stability improvements to CC application itself.
- 2nd attempt to fix FRLG Game Corner Reset options. (reported by Sheep Punter, credit Astro)
Automated RNG programs are getting close and are slated for v0.66! Please stay tuned!
SerialPrograms v0.64.13
Version 0.64.13:
- Fixed more fallout from previous bugfix. (reported by Eragon)
Version 0.64.12:
- Attempt to fix a crash in CC. (reported by Kubby, Eragon, lightbornkayn, Jordi + more)
- New Pico firmware will now successfully pair wireless over USB. (credit Mitch from HOJA for his help)
While the fix here indeed fixes a bug, it has not yet been proven if it is the cause of the crashes that everyone is reporting. Furthermore, the fix is very invasive and may lead to more bugs. Please let us know if you encounter any issues.

SerialPrograms v0.64.11
Version 0.64.11:
New Changes:
- AutoDA Boss Finder now has an option to automatically save bosses. (credit Boombaastical)
- Fixed order of Pinsir and Dratini in LG. (reported by Sheep Punter, credit Astro)
- AutoStory: Improved Alfornada routine. (reported by Butters, credit jw)
- Pico wireless controllers on latest firmware no longer share the same MAC address. (credit Mitch from HOJA for his help)
Changes Included from Betas:
- Fixed a major timing issue with PABotBase2. (credit Patrick and others for the clues that revealed this)
- The "HID: Keyboard" controller now displays Num/Caps/Scroll-lock status.
- When using an OEM controller, programs will detect a connection failure and tell you do disconnect other controllers.
- Added an option to make Friend Delete work on the Switch 2. (reported by Nikki)
- Improved stability of AutoStory. (reported by daemon1337, credit jw)
- Fixed high CPU usage with PABotBase2.
- Fixed some glitches for controller status display.
Version v0.64.8-beta
Version 0.64.8 (public beta):
- Fixed more firmware issues.
- More stability improvements to AutoStory. (reported by Butters, credit jw)
Version 0.64.6 (public beta):
The timing issue in PABotBase2 is very severe as it affects nearly all blind button sequences. Please stay tuned for updates to the RNG programs as they may need to be retuned for new timing parameters.
You will need to flash new PABotBase2 firmware for this release. PABotBase1 is unaffected and remains unchanged.
Other Announcements:
- This is a friendly reminder that AVR8 and PABotBase1 will go away in a few months. So please upgrade to the modern controllers if you haven't already.
- We are exploring the idea of changing the ESP32-S3's default controller from "NS2: Wired Controller" to "NS1: Wired Pro Controller". This gives default access to gyro, rumble, controller colors, player lights (and thus connection failure detection). But it loses the GL, GR, and C buttons, and requires enabling an extra option in the Switch settings.

Version 0.64.1 (public beta):
- Added Lucky Egg Farmer (credit dolphincurry)
- Added FRLG Item Duplication (credit dolphincurry)
- Change in Pico firmware behavior: If you pair one OEM controller, it pairs all 3 of them. (not an intended feature, but rather a bugfix)
- Fixed a video inference issue on slow computers. (reported by Astro)
- Fixed the Cloud Island's run option. (credit Gimikyu)
- Stability improvements to RNG Helper. (credit dolphincurry)
- Stability improvements to most FRLG programs. (credit dolphincurry)
- Stability improvements to AutoStory. (reported by Butters, credit jw)

While not required, we recommend flashing the new PABotBase2 firmware for this beta. There have been some big firmware changes we'd like to crowd-source test before going live.
SerialPrograms v0.63.9
Version 0.63.9:
