The interactive rebase viewer is really really bad now.

I can't even begin to describe how glitchy it is now. Like just use it. Try a merge conflict. Try an interactive rebase.

Can you please add more detail as to the issue you are experiencing and/or the steps to reproduce it?

Also, if this issue is reproducible, can you please enable debug logging by running from GitLens: Enable Debug Logging from the Command Palette (F1 or ctrl/cmd+shift+p). This will enable logging to the GitLens and GitLens (Git) channel in the Output pane.

Once enabled, please reproduce the issue, and attach the log from both the GitLens and GitLens (Git) channels.

• The viewer opens even on non-interactive rebases
• The viewer opens after a rebase is complete with nonsensical info
• The viewer gets focus while doing a reword action; obviously I want to edit the commit message instead
• Clicking on a commit no longer opens the patch- it instead opens the gitlens timeline view, which basically adds no info.

There seems to have been a big rewrite of the viewer in a recent update, since the UI is also different; Please just revert that, this viewer is literally the only reason I have gitlens installed.

You can set "gitlens.rebaseEditor.openOnPausedRebase": "interactive" and it will only open on interactive rebases

The viewer opens after a rebase is complete with nonsensical info

This is a timing issue and will be resolved soon

The viewer gets focus while doing a reword action; obviously I want to edit the commit message instead

This should be fixed in the latest pre-release (and coming soon to stable)
