Makes sense. One thing I noticed is that current we don't seem to support the embedded shell interpreter on FreeBSD. It only gets passed through in the Linux builder. Seems prudent to fix before the release?

Motivation
This was requested during a previous nix meeting. FreeBSD support is now in the nix installer, but this was never documented.
