Reverting changes from config fix. Incompatible with Nexus at this time. I'll re-do to try to implement reverse compatibility or look into adjusting Nexus' method.

Reverting changes from PR #642
Current fix is incompatible with Nexus at this time due to a method change. I'll re-do to try to implement reverse compatibility or look into adjusting Nexus' method at a later date.
