Nimbus Home Weather Station

  • A homemade weather station. A custom raspberry pi weather station setup in my backyard that streams weather data out and projected to the Nimbus UI

    Key Features

    • Arcitecture managed E2E - from Raspberry Pi -> MQTT Broker -> Spring Webflux API -> Angular UI
    • Summary is powered w/ AI to provide consistent weather information and tips
    • Uses an MQTT broker so weather data can be used across many applications. Including email notification service and Home Assistant integrations
    • Temp background matches current conditions and time of day
    • Moon in background matches current Moon cycle nimbus home nimbus detail

  • Dev Connect was my second group project from the bootcamp. Built the api for the events page and for all users.
